Employee Compensation and Benefits Pre and Post COVID-19

The Compensation and Benefits Package is considered the main employee’s motivator. As such, it plays a crucial role in determining successful recruiting, engagement, retention strategies. Failing to offer right package, will be translated into additional costs. This study aimed identify what type of compensation benefits Albanian employees receive their relationship with job satisfaction, before after COVID-19. We surveyed 127 conducted 10 in-depth interviews, different institutions Albania. Descriptive inferential statistics were used analyze data. findings showed that most received are medical insurance bonuses, less than considerably satisfied package. majority stated had great importance would leave current for another one offers more benefits. Findings related COVID-19 impact employees’ lifestyle has changed flexible working hours top benefit, followed by paid time-off options. conclusions indicate Compensations packages should redesigned meet needs “new normal”, future employees, paying close attention preferences.
